Hey, I’m Theresa (teh-REH-sah) 🌻

I was introduced to design thinking through a social entrepreneurship & impact lens in my university’s technology entrepreneurship program. Since then, I’ve been inspired to utilize design thinking to innovate solutions wherever I can —

from facilitating, teaching, & writing design thinking workshops for large organizations and collaborating on service design projects in a social impact fellowship,

to developing tools to make financial processes more efficient as an accounting analyst.

So much of design is about being in community — I enjoy learning about tech/design ethics and attending local tech events in the Baltimore-DC area to connect with other tech workers.

When I’m not designing, I’m exploring new ways to learn more about myself and the world. Some of these explorations include:

😹 Improv — Making friends & strangers laugh by volunteering and performing at the Baltimore Improv Group,

😻 Experimenting with food — Homebrewing kombucha, baking sourdough, and cooking with friends.

😺 Taking in all that fresh air — volunteering at urban farms, foraging, befriending neighborhood cats...
